Elie Saab was born in 1964 in Damour, Lebanon.
Already at the age of 10 he was passionate about couture. They created tablecloths and curtains for their sisters. Gradually, its customer base grew: neighbors, local women and soon to the whole country and today – the whole world.
He was auto-didact and worked very hard on himself. In 1982, he opened his first studio in war-torn Beirut. He embarked on a successful adventure that brought him world fame and led him to what he is today: the “official designer” of princesses, queens and stars around the world.
